With advances in braided line manufacturing driven by the lure fishing market, Baseline offers a combination of features never before seen in the carp braided mainline market.
The figure of eight plus one strand construction with a denser, sinking core of fibers surrounded by woven high quality Dyneema results in a more user friendly, thinner braid line with a round profile for easier casting and spooling. The baseline cuts through the surface quickly to lie deep in the water and settle on the lake bottom, improving the line's stealth.
Featuring a new technology in braided lines, the Baseline UV Yellow contains reflective strands in ultraviolet light – this allows both the position and direction of the line to be instantly perceived during the day or at night.
The bright yellow provides maximum visibility of the line during the day, and in the dark it can be illuminated with the Powerbanx UV headlamp, which causes the line to reflect in the ultraviolet beam.
For boat users the benefits are immediate and huge as line positions are easily seen regardless of visibility - this reduces the risk of line getting caught or cut in propellers or boat keels. The eye catching properties of Baseline UV are also helpful when rigs are close together or when landing carp under or over other lines.
Available on 600m and 1200m spools, the Baseline offers flexibility for spooling reduced quantities on 2 and 3 rod setups, or for filling the largest spools in one go for the most extreme distances worldwide.
Contents: 600m spool
The reflective properties of Baseline Braid UV Yellow will slowly decrease over time. The contents of a reel spool can be turned over to return to maximum reflective performance.
