France Carp Fishing
The time had finally come! On Monday morning my alarm went off and I jumped out of bed full of anticipation. A very special session was about to take place. My goal: a lake of around 20 hectares, with a depth of up to 18 metres and stunningly beautiful turquoise water.
I quickly packed my car and set off for the “Blue Lagoon”. When I arrived at my destination, Arnaud was already waiting for me and our session together could finally begin.
The spots were quickly found and the bait was ready to go. My bait consisted of crushed and whole Classic Corny Boilies, Classic Corny and Krilly Babycorn pellets and a few handfuls of Ready Tiger Nuts.
The first rod had been out for less than 10 minutes when my bite indicator screeched for the first time! After a short fight, the first grasser was safely landed. The "railway barrier" had bitten on a Classic Corny Wafter. What a great start!
After that it was quiet for a while as the temperature rose to just over 35 degrees! Time for a cold drink or two and a nice chat with Arnaud in the shade.
After a breathtaking sunset at the "Blue Lagoon", the carp really went wild. A real catching and feeding frenzy! The result of the first night: an incredible 11 grass carp and 4 carp! (All of this completely instant)
Another highlight followed in the morning. Arnaud managed to trick a beautiful koi into using a Natural Beauty boilie. An absolute dream session!
The day was again rather quiet, as the temperature rose again to around 35 degrees. Despite this extreme heat, we were still able to catch three nice grasshoppers.
Another highlight of the afternoon was the visit from my friend Yannick, who was able to drill a beautiful grasser immediately after his arrival. Shared joy is simply the best!
Then the time had come, the last (second) night. So much for the advance: it was brilliant again! The sensational result the next morning was 12 carp and 2 grass carp. Incredible!
Almost all fish bit on products from the Classic Corny Range, which once again proved its sensational instant effect.
At around 10:30 a.m. Arnaud was once again able to catch a truly exceptional fish. A mirror carp with a very special scale pattern, an absolute one-of-a-kind.
The perfect conclusion to an absolutely extraordinary two-day session.
